What students and families need to know.

Finland’s October 12 webinar listing includes university and UAS applicant sessions. Check Finnish time zones and prepare questions for your 2027 shortlist.

Source publication and update: 12 October 2026. Editorial check: 13 October 2026. Study in Finland has published an official listing of university and university of applied sciences applicant webinars. It offers a useful way to ask institution-level questions while preparing a 2027 study shortlist.

Sessions currently listed

The listing includes Vaasa UAS on 3 November, Tampere University's English-taught master's session on 17 November and its bachelor's session on 15 December. Other institutions and sessions are also included. Read each organiser's page for registration and any changes.

The official list states that times are in Finnish time unless otherwise noted. For example, the listed 3 November Vaasa session at 13:00–14:00 EET (UTC+2) corresponds to 16:30–17:30 IST. Confirm the organiser's event time before setting a reminder.

Turn attendance into useful research

Prepare questions around a specific programme. Ask about qualification requirements, course prerequisites, accepted language evidence, application route and how scholarship applications work. A targeted question is more likely to produce information you can use than a broad request to recommend the best course.

  • Read the programme page before the session.
  • Write down unclear requirements using the exact course name.
  • Ask where the official written instructions can be found.
  • Keep application and scholarship deadlines as separate tracker entries.
  • Confirm important answers on the institution's official page afterwards.

A webinar is not an admissions decision

General information from an event does not establish your eligibility or provide a guaranteed scholarship. Your application still needs to meet the programme's requirements and follow its published process.

Frequently asked questions

Are these sessions in Indian time?

No. The listing uses Finnish time unless a session says otherwise. Convert each event for the date it takes place.

Do the events confirm one deadline for every 2027 programme?
