Checked on 6 October 2026: MBA aspirants considering programmes for the 2027 intake should note the current NMAT by GMAC calendar. The official exam page lists 10 October 2026 as the registration closing date and 22 October 2026 as the scheduling closing date. The exam delivery window is listed as 2 November to 20 December 2026.
Check the accepted admission cycle with each business school before applying. The exam year and programme intake year can differ.
Registration and scheduling are different tasks
The official registration guide explains that candidates register and pay before booking an examination appointment through the dashboard. It also makes clear that NMAT registration and business school applications are separate processes.
Make three tracker entries: complete exam registration, book the appointment and submit the relevant business school application. This is more reliable than using one tick box marked MBA application done.
Review your shortlist before choosing programmes
Check which schools accept the score for the programme and intake you want. Compare course content, eligibility, total fees and recruitment outcomes. If a programme is outside your budget or does not fit your career goal, the fact that it accepts an examination score is not enough reason to apply.
- Read current eligibility and score acceptance on the school's official page.
- Record the school's own form deadline separately.
- Confirm appointment details after scheduling.
- Keep registration, payment and scheduling acknowledgements together.
Connect the exam to your 2027 MBA plan
Use our MBA admission 2027 guide to compare costs and outcomes before committing to a college. Our NMAT college guide can help you discover options, but verify each institution's latest rules.
If Symbiosis programmes are also on your shortlist, read the SNAP 2026 update for the 2027 intake. Recheck official exam dates for any changes and avoid treating registration as a guaranteed admission outcome.
