MCC's PG counselling page says Round 1 choice filling has resumed. Candidates should review their account and the latest notices now, keeping registration, payment and choices as separate tasks.
Dates in the published timetable
The tentative Round 1 schedule lists registration until noon on October 21 and payment until 3 PM that day. Choice filling is listed until 10 AM on October 22, with locking from 4 PM on October 21 to 10 AM on October 22. These are server-time deadlines.
The timetable lists October 24 for the result and October 26–November 2 for reporting. These are scheduled dates, not confirmation that a result is already available, and remain subject to later official changes.
How to respond to the resumed-choice message
Read the current notices on the MCC PG page, then check your application and payment status. A message about choice filling does not remove the need to complete other required steps.
- Confirm the round and candidature in your account.
- Review each course, institution and quota against the latest applicable matrix.
- Arrange preferences in your intended order and check fees and training conditions.
- Complete locking as instructed and retain the available final record.
Make choices you can act on
A long list is not automatically a better list. Compare practical factors such as location, course structure, institutional requirements and the financial commitment if allotted.
