Updated coverage — 24 October 2026: NEET PG 2026 Round 1 Final Result Released: Download Allotment Letter and Prepare for Reporting. Read the newer coverage alongside the original article below.
Official portal checked: 22 October 2026, after the displayed cutoff. The portal message does not show its publication time.
MCC’s PG counselling page displayed a later cutoff than the one many applicants may have saved from the earlier schedule. Its latest message allowed choice filling and choice locking until 12 noon on 22 October 2026, following candidate requests. That displayed time has now passed.
Check the saved record
Applicants should use their own candidate account to check the record of choices and retain the available confirmation. A forwarded message or another candidate’s screen cannot confirm what was saved in your application. If an unresolved technical problem affected you, preserve the relevant evidence and use the official support route.
The official MCC PG counselling page remains the place to check subsequent notices. This update does not announce another extension or confirm an individual allotment. Do not treat an expected result date as evidence that the result has already been issued.
Why this supersedes the earlier cutoff coverage
Our earlier article covered the resumed choice-filling stage. The new portal message changes the cutoff information students should use when reviewing that stage. Keep the revised message with your counselling records and read the next round-specific instruction before taking a further action.
What to do next
Read the full guide to results and reporting after choice locking. For background, see the earlier resumed-choice update.
Frequently asked questions
Can I assume choices are still editable?
No. The displayed noon cutoff has passed. Check the current portal and any formally issued later notice.
Does this update confirm a seat?
No. It concerns choice submission and locking, not a candidate’s allotment.
