Portal-listed opening: 22 October 2026 | Checked: 24 October 2026.
The National Scholarship Portal lists the PM YASASVI Central Sector Scheme of Top Class Education in Schools for OBC, EBC and DNT students as open from October 22, with student applications until November 30, 2026. Students and families should identify this exact school-scheme entry before using a deadline circulated for another funding route.
School and college entries have different calendars
The official NSP scheme list displays a separate top-class college scheme. Do not transfer that entry’s date to the school scheme. Read the specifications and eligibility for your level of study and academic year before starting an application.
Submission and verification are separate
The school entry lists defective-application and institute verification until December 15 and the later authority-verification stage until December 31. These later dates are not an extension of the November 30 student deadline. Record each stage with its responsible person and action.
Our earlier NSP overview provides background on organising scholarship research. Use the detailed tracker in the related blogs below to keep evidence, submission confirmation and any correction request together. The listing is not an individual eligibility or award decision.
