What Candidates Can Check in NEET PG 2026 Answer Key
NBEMS has provided detailed information about what candidates will be able to access through their individual login.
1. Section-wise Question IDs
Candidates will be able to view the Question IDs section-wise according to the sequence of questions in their individual question-paper set.
NBEMS has clarified that questions within a section were shuffled across candidates. Therefore, the sequence of Question IDs may be different for different candidates.
2. Status of Candidate Response
Candidates will be able to see whether each question was:
- Answered
- Not Attempted
This information will be displayed for every question applicable to the candidate’s individual question-paper set.
3. Correct Answer Key ID
For every question, candidates will be shown the correct answer key ID — 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Candidates should note that answer options were also shuffled across candidates. Therefore, the correct key ID for the same Question ID may appear differently for different candidates.
4. Response Marked by Candidate
Candidates will also be able to see the response ID — 1, 2, 3 or 4 — selected by them against each question.
This will help candidates compare their recorded response with the correct answer key.
5. Marks Awarded for Each Question
NBEMS will also show the score awarded for every question.
The scoring information displayed will include:
- +4 marks for a correct response
- -1 mark for an incorrect response
- 0 marks where applicable under the examination scheme
This question-wise breakup will help candidates understand how their NEET PG 2026 score was calculated.

Not necessarily.

They should instead check the Question ID, correct Key ID and recorded response shown in their own applicant login.
Is There an Answer Key Challenge Window?
The October 1, 2026 notice does not mention any objection or answer-key challenge window.
Therefore, candidates should not assume that an objection facility is currently available unless NBEMS issues a separate official notification.
